MacManus back on the door

Published on .

The board of agency holding company D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, New York, today approved changing its name to The MacManus Group, to differentiate it from the DMB&B ad agency (AA, July 15). Ted MacManus, a legendary copywriter, was a founder of MacManus John & Adams, a predecessor agency. Besides DMB&B, the MacManus Group's holdings include Medicus Group International; Manning, Selvage & Lee; and Clarion Marketing & Communications, and will soon include N. W. Ayer & Partners.
