Macromedia inks marketing deal with IBM

Macromedia signed a marketing and distribution deal with IBM Corp. where Macromedia will add HotMedia, IBM's Java-based Internet technology, on its software publishing tools, Director and Dreamweaver. Under the deal, companies will be able to use the new IBM HotMedia tool kit when developing rich media content using the Macromedia software.
