New 'Mademoiselle' publisher

Vicci Lasdon Rose resigned as publisher of YM at Gruner & Jahr Publishing USA to return to Conde Nast as publisher of Mademoiselle. She succeeds Cathy Viscardi Johnston, who was promoted to senior VP. No successor has been named at YM.

Peg Farrell, publisher of Marie Claire, who was rumored to have turned down the Mademoiselle job several weeks ago to stay at Hearst Magazines, is now rumored to be the next publisher of Hearst's flagship Good Housekeeping.
