Magazine ads slip in November

Publishers Information Bureau said magazine ad pages dipped 1.1% in Novemberto 22,270.6. Year-to-date, ad pages are now down 1% from a year ago to193,241. While revenue figures through November show a gain of 8.2% to $10.05billion, consumer magazine publishers will have a tough time beating lastyear's ad-page records unless they record a monumental December.
