Magazine execs cite M&A interest

In a new survey of senior magazine publishing executives, more than 80% told media investment banker Jordan, Edmiston Group they are considering a merger or acquisition within the next three years. Nearly two-thirds said they are considering the acquisition of a trade show or event to stimulate growth, and nearly half said they are planning to launch a Web site in the next year and hope to eventually launch an online magazine or media property.
