Mail.com acquires software company

Mail.com, a provider of Internet messaging services, has acquired TCOM Inc., a software technology developer, in a cash and stock transaction. TCOM, which specializes in the design of applications for the telecommunications and computer telephony industries, will expand Mail.com's proven technical expertise in delivering mission critical Internet messaging services. The acquisition expands Mail.com's capabilities to rapidly deliver next generation products and services into the Internet messaging marketplace, the company said.
