Manzi appointed CEO of Industry.Net

Published on .

Jim Manzi, former president of Lotus Development Co., Tuesday was named president and CEO of Industry.Net, a business-to-business online marketplace. Separately, Sun Microsystems has opened an electronic business center on the network, one of more than 4,250 companies already part of the network. "The old-fashioned approach to buying and selling substantially inflates the cost of most products and services," said Mr. Manzi. "Now that we can bring buyers and sellers together online, we can simplify that process and lower its cost."
