Blockbuster's interactive game consisted of 10 movie trivia questions and one tie-breaker. The 6-minute game ran twice last fall during commercial breaks of telecast movies and was delivered live via satellite to broadcast stations in Houston, Dallas and Kansas City, Mo. Viewers played by calling a 900-number and using their touch-tone keypads to enter responses. Participants received coupons for movie rentals and Pizza Hut products, the value of which exceeded the cost of the phone call. Winners in each market won a European vacation plus $1,000.
