The application acts as an electronic sales assistant recommending items for purchase by department store customers. The consumer is taken through a series of questions. For example: Is she silk, cashmere or cotton? Is she Saturday night or Sunday morning? Is she glossy lips or matte? After questions are answered by touching the screen, two product recommendations are displayed that match the personality or lifestyle of the recipient. Participants receive a printout with a personal profile and product recommendations.
