NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Tom Brokaw calls it the "most-influential generation." I call it mine.
Whatever name you use for the 77 million baby boomers born between 1946 and 1964, it's clear we've had a vast influence on the marketing economy. The estimated $3 trillion in spending power boomers wield today is substantial, but let's not forget the money this generation doled out over the decades helped make brands and break them.
CNBC, which is presenting Mr. Brokaw's documentary "Boomer$" on March 4, asked this resident Ad Age boomer to compile a list of the top 15 brands for the demographic. These are my picks. But boomers, of course, like to have their say, so please comment or offer suggestions of your own below.
