Dubai--One of the Middle East's leading media research groups has launched a Web site offering in-depth market studies, monthly reports on advertising spending and analysis of the media and advertising industry. The Dubai-based Pan Arab Research Center has been analyzing the Arab world's media and advertising market since 1976. The new Internet service, launched in December, provides special reports and studies for a fee.The PARC Web site also provides a brief analysis of advertising expenditure during the last 12 months, usually with a two-month lag. The latest study--of October's ad spend in 12 Middle Eastern markets--indicates a 19% increase from the previous year to $1.6 billion.
