(Aug. 22, 2001) -- The Relizon Co., Dayton, Ohio, today acquired marketing services company Epsilon in an effort to expand its customer relationship management capabilities.

The Burlington, Mass.-based Epsilon will retain its name and management team, and Relizon's e-CRM group will be folded into Epsilon.

Relizon and Epsilon are private companies, and financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Relizon recorded annual revenue of $800 million for its fiscal year ended Sept. 30, 2000, according to the company, while Epsilon reported annual revenue of $120 million last year. -- Cara Beardi
