Marriott in multi-brand effort

Marriott International next week launches a multi-brand frequent guest program with a direct mail effort to 9 million consumers and print ad support. McCann-Erickson Worldwide handles. Ads will run in USA Today, Fortune and The Wall Street Journal through November. The Marriott Rewards program allows members to earn and redeem points for free stays at Marriott's six lodging brands. It replaces programs for Marriott's individual brands.
