MasterCard International breaks its new campaign from McCann-Erickson Worldwide, New York, tomorrow. The tagline is, "There are some things money can't buy ... for everything else there's MasterCard." It replaces "The future of money" tag used by former agency Ammirati Puris Lintas, New York. MasterCard is shifting gears to create a warmer image; for instance, the TV ad that breaks tomorrow centers on a father taking his son to a baseball game. Past ads left consumers cold, a MasterCard executive said. Additional TV spots break in November and December, and print starts running in January publications. Spending was not disclosed.
