MasterCard narrows review

Published on .

MasterCard International named two two finalists in the shootout for its $80 million U.S. creative assignment: McCann-Erickson Worldwide and Messner Veterre Berger McNamee Schmetterer/Euro RSCG, both New York. Eliminated from the review were Grey Advertising, New York, Leo Burnett USA, Chicago, and GSD&M, Austin, Texas. MasterCard said the work submitted by the two remaining agencies will undergo testing. It said it hoped to name a winning agency by the end of the summer.
