Camry is the ideal car for the indecisive in a Canadian spot titled "Identity Crisis." As a fellow dreams about his future--wife and three kids, or wife and two kids and small dog, or wife and dog but no kids . . . or no wife or kids but bigger dog--the appropriate car shifts from a Camry sedan to the sportier Solara version to finally the Solara convertible. At then end, the hip guy and his dog drive off into the sunset, and the voice-over says: "Identity crisis? Camry. Solara. The new Solara convertible. Three fast ways to find yourself." Saatchi & Saatchi, Toronto, created the 30-second spot for Toyota Canada in both English and French versions. Topix/Mad Dog supplied the special effects. Copywriter: Erik Copplestone. Art director: Mark Craig.
