McCann loses big in AT&T shop cut

AT&T Corp., New York, is consolidating its business at two agencies, moving $155 million in billings out of McCann-Erickson Worldwide, New York, to remaining core agencies Foote, Cone & Belding and Young & Rubicam. In the shift, FCB picks up from McCann an estimated $85 million in AT&T Wireless billings and $70 million in AT&T Solutions business-to-business billings. Y&R gets media planning, formerly at FCB, and consolidated global business assignments from several unidentified agencies.The billings involved were not disclosed.
