McCann out as Pearle agency

Pearle Vision Centers, Dallas, said it split with McCann Erickson Worldwide, New York, citing "a shift in marketing direction." Pearle, which hired McCann in May 1997, is conducting a closed review among three undisclosed agencies. Spending was not disclosed.
