McCann in PR acquisition

McCann-Erickson Worldwide, New York, acquired London-based Ludgate Group, a $15 million agency specializing in financial and corporate PR and investor relations. In addition to London, Ludgate has offices in New York and Hong Kong and is part of an international alliance in 20 countries worldwide. Ludgate CEO Tim Trotter becomes deputy chairman of the McCann-Erickson PR Group, reporting to Larry Weber, chairman of McCann PR and its largest agency, The Weber Group, Cambridge, Mass.
