The Texas Department of Commerce's Tourism Division hired McCann-Erickson Worldwide, Houston, to handle its Texas tourism campaign, replacing longtime incumbent GSD&M after a periodic review. Spending is $5 million to $10 million. The client was also looking for ideas in licensing and merchandising.
