McCarrick moves to 'Time'

Ed McCarrick, 49, will become publisher of Time magazine. He succeeds Jack Haire, who moved last month to president of the Fortune Group. Mr. McCarrick moves from his current job as publisher of Life, a position he's held since September 1993.
