McD's slices Chicken Selects

Published on .

Chicken Selects has failed to make the grade at McDonald's Corp., Oak Brook, Ill., after a 14-month test. A spokesman said the burger giant had challenges in getting consistent ingredients for the batter-coated white-meat chicken pieces, which have been offered in Northeastern restaurants. There are no plans yet for another test product, the McVeggie Burger, to be expanded beyond about 10 units in New York City, the spokesman said.
