The fast-food giant will have exclusive global Olympic marketing rights in the branded restaurant category for the 1998 Olympic Winter Games in Nagano, Japan, and the 2000 Summer Olympic Games in Sydney. McDonald's is a Centennial Olympic Games Partner for the 1996 Summer Games in Atlanta, as well as the Official Foodservice Partner, and will operate the first branded restaurant in the Olympic Village.
