(July 11, 2001) RIO DE JANEIRO -- In what is its biggest advertising push this year in Brazil, McDonald's Corp. is unveiling a $4 million campaign revolving around Disney's latest movie release, Atlantis.

Created by Taterka Comunicacoes, Sao Paulo, the campaign includes the distribution of up to 50 million items such as three-dimensional glasses.

The multinational fast-food giant expects the campaign to help boost sales this month by around 7% compared with the previous year. Brazil represents McDonald's eighth-largest market. -- Claudia Penteado
