Published on .

McDonald's Corp. on Feb. 8 will open a new prototype called "Burger Invasion" at Disney's California Adventure park in Anaheim, Calif. The restaurant is designed to look like a super-sized, three-dimensional hamburger and is the eighth McDonald's venture on Disney properties around the world.

"McDonald's new restaurant at Disney's California Adventure is the latest example of the growing relationship between our two companies," Michael D. Eisner, chairman-CEO of The Walt Disney Co., said in a statement. The two companies have executed some 1,500 joint projects worldwide, including movie tie-ins and ticket promotions.
