McDonald's gets 'N Sync for CD promo

McDonald's Corp. is working on a custom compact disc with boy band 'N Sync for a late summer meal promotion. The deal prompts a battle of the bands between the No. 1 fast-feeder and rival Burger King Corp., which is sponsoring the fall tour of the Backstreet Boys. McDonald's kids agency Leo Burnett USA, Chicago, confirmed it is working on a promotion for late summer but declined to discuss details.
