(July 6, 2001) -- McDonald's is using interactive media to help promote the 10th anniversary of its version of Monopoly, which includes a new game called Pick Your Prize in which people can select prize options.

The online component of the promotion, which starts July 11 and runs through Aug. 9, will allow users to go to mcdonalds.com to download a desktop application that includes the game board and the opportunity to view potential prizes.

The Tribal DDB unit of Omnicom Group's DDB Worldwide created the online component. DDB, and Bcom3 Group's Leo Burnett, worked on other aspects of the campaign. -- Catharine P. Taylor
