McDonald's ready to move Ball, Green

Published on .

Executives close to McDonald's Corp. say the company is planning to shift titles in its marketing division, effectively moving Brad Ball, senior VP-USA marketing, into the post currently occupied by David Green senior VP-marketing. Mr. Green, meanwhile, is believed to be in line for a new, strategic position. Also, agency executives are bracing for a minor move in national assignments at McDonald's within the next three months that would remove some business from lead agency Leo Burnett USA, Chicago. The move would be partly in retribution for the agency's media buying mixup that created at least a $20 million shortfall. McDonald's declined to comment.
