McDonald's reorganization seen

McDonald's Corp. plans to reorganize its national marketing department this month as part of a move launched last summer. The aim is to focus on regional management and accountability for its tepid U.S. operations and to get closer to franchisees, which operate 85% of the chain's 12,380 outlets, it was said. Brad Ball, senior-VP marketing, declined comment.
