McDonald's Corp., Oak Brook, Ill., launches monthlong animal-themed promotions April 24 to link with the grand opening next week of Walt Disney Co.'s Animal Kingdom theme park at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla. Programs include a sweepstakes for free trips to the park for customers who "super size" their value meals, collector cups; new menu items, including "Wild Berry" pies and "Mountain Raspberry" shakes; and 12 different animal toys for Happy Meals. The TV and radio support comes from the chain's national roster agencies, including DDB Needham Worldwide, Leo Burnett USA, Burrell Communications, all Chicago, and del Rivero Messianu, Coral Gables, Fla.
