MCI, AOL protest Net copyright bill

Published on .

A proposed Internet copyright bill will prevent commerce and stop the Internet's growth, officials of MCI Communications Corp., America Online and the nation's phone companies warned Monday. The House committee is due to consider the copyright bill on Wednesday.
