New MCI WorldCom breaks ads

The newly merged MCI WorldCom is unleashing a flood of new advertising. Chicago Bulls star Michael Jordan, the former ad spokesman of WorldCom, stars along with Warner Bros.' Looney Tunes characters in breaking TV spots for MCI's 5-cent Sundays promotion. The spots reunite the basketball star and his "Space Jam" movie friends showing how the group has stayed in touch using the 5-cent Sunday program. Also breaking later this week are corporate spots highlighting the new company and its extensive network and communications power. Both spots feature a new logo.
