McKinsey, Media Metrix combine marketing, online measurement

McKinsey & Co., a management consulting company, and Media Metrix, which tracks Internet audiences, created a research alliance to develop deeper understanding of online consumer behavior and its implications for e-businesses. Through the alliance, McKinsey will be able to leverage Media Metrix's comprehensive database of actual online usage, further supporting its e-business clients; Media Metrix will gain insight into online behavior and trends, strengthening its ability to meet clients' information requirements.
