Media Internet shop opens in Brazil

SAO PAULO--Paulo Leal, the owner of media shops Starsat and Starmusic, which specialize in entertainment, is launching Staronline, which will focus on Internet companies, portals and Web sites.

The new company's first client is "Ajato", an Internet access provider in broadband with pay-TV TVA in Brazil.

Mr. Leal's partners include financial markets specialist Alexandre Rangel Pestana Maia and Hamilton Taffarela, who hails from the computer industry.

Starsat sells media on pay TV with clients including E!, Sony, Mundo andNickelodeon channels. Starmusic sells advertising space in entertainmentvenues such as concert halls.
