(Aug. 14, 2001) -- Interface service provider Mediadome, Santa Clara, Calif., has been selected to create an NFL team-branded Super Browser for FanPC's new line of customized SportsFanPC personal computers.

The PC includes a custom-painted chassis with team colors, a monitor frame with team stats, photos and schedules, and team memorabilia, including a media guide, roster, cup holder and mouse pad.

When launched from the SportsFanPC desktop, the enhanced browser will launch an online "football stadium" that is branded by the team. Web screens placed throughout this "stadium" will allow for promotions and sponsorship opportunities.

The NFL-branded SportsFanPCs will be sold online and by phone beginning in mid-September 2001. Mediadome was formed through investments by Intel and Superscape. -- Adrienne Mand
