Mediaplex, an advertising technology company, and CMGI's AdForce, an ad-serving company, will provide advertisers with wireless ad targeting, management and delivery. Under a deal between the two companies, Mediaplex will incorporate AdForce's digital ad management and delivery technology into its wireless advertising offering. AdForce, in turn, will offer Mediaplex's Mojo real-time messaging to its customer base, enabling advertisers to continuously tailor location-based advertising. Alcatel is the first wireless provider to use the new wireless advertising service.
