Meredith launches new magazine

Meredith Corp. said it will launch a new magazine, Better Homes & Gardens Family Money, next summer with a rate base of 250,000 and a quarterly frequency. Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. will be a big backer of the title and will supply an advertorial supplement in each issue featuring its "Life Advice" series of articles. The edition with the insert will be distributed to Met Life customers. Jerry Kaplan, publishing group VP for group sales, will also serve as publisher of the new title.
