(April 16, 2001) -- MetLife will launch a new $25 million campaign this week to promote its new look since going public last year. The campaign, tagged "Have You Met Life Today?" promotes the company's services, including insurance and financial services.

The effort was created by WPP Group's Y&R Advertising, New York, with assistance from BrightHouse, Atlanta, the consultancy MetLife hired last year to reposition its brand. The campaign will include network and cable TV spots that break April 18, as well as print ads, MetLife blimps and a billboard in New York's Times Square. -- Mercedes Cardona
