Metromail invests in Web software company

Database and direct marketing company Metromail Corp. announced Thursday that it had taken a minority stake in IMGIS, a company that makes ad targeting software. Companies currently using IMGIS's AdForce targeting service include Petry Network and Millennium Marketing, and the Web divisions of Petry Media and Katz Media.
