MGM LOSES TWO EXECUTIVES

Published on .

(June 20, 2001) -- MGM Distribution Co. has made some mass changes at its senior executive level. Gerry Rich, president of worldwide marketing, and Larry Gleason, president of worldwide theatrical distribution, are leaving the company, according to executives close to the situation.

Executives believe either Bob Levin, a former marketing head at Sony Pictures Entertainment, or Dennis Rice, a former marketing executive at Miramax Films, are negotiating to fill the positions. An MGM spokeswoman would not comment. -- Wayne Friedman
