$2.4 Million Campaign Promotes Happiness

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- In a move to jump start tourism in the wake of the events of Sept. 11, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau is launching a $2.4 million campaign with a theme that promotes happiness and bonding with family and friends, preferably in South Florida.

TV spots in English and Spanish will run in the Atlanta, Chicago, New York and Philadelphia markets; magazine, newspaper, online and radio will also be used.

Turkel, Schwartz & Partners, Coconut Grove, Fla., is the agency.
