Squibb & Sons in 1976, where he became over-the-counter product manager and was recognized as sales representative of the year in 1977, and product manager of the year in 1983. He moved to Warner-Lambert Co. in 1984, where he served in a number of positions at the VP level through 1994, when he became VP of the Northeast Customer Business Unit and helped Benadryl go OTC.
