BarnesandNoble.com and Microsoft signed an agreement that makes the bookselling giant the exclusive online bookseller on MSNBC, Microsoft Investor and Expedia--news, financial and travel sites that together reach more than 2.5 million consumers each month. The deal, which includes revenue sharing from transactions and a variety of co-marketing programs, is the latest in the BarnesandNoble.com interactive marketing push. Other agreements have included New York Times
Online, America Online and an affiliate network of more than 40 companies.
