(Aug. 9, 2001) -- Microsoft has launched the MSN Advantage Marketing program, which is designed to highlight various digital marketing offerings for brand and direct-response marketers.

The program includes two new strategic partnership opportunities, the MSN Premier6 Partners and Agency Alliance programs, which will allow participating companies and agencies access to MSN's ad products and .NET services.

Interactive shop Digitas, Boston, has become the first agency to join the new programs.

The Premier6 Partners Program targets Fortune 500 companies investing more than $20 million a year in a combination of MSN marketing solutions, Microsoft's .NET services and Microsoft Consulting Services. The program focuses on the "six Ps": performance, portfolio, platform, profile, products and presence.

The Agency Alliance Program is geared toward providing brand and online ad agencies with the training to deploy MSN's marketing solutions for their clients.

MSN will brief members on content integration and sponsorship opportunities, host on-site sessions on successful online ad strategies and provide advanced access to proprietary industry research. -- Adrienne Mand
