Microsoft gets Muppets

Microsoft Network has signed an exclusive three-year development deal with Jim Henson Productions to create original interactive programming. Henson and MSN will create programs based on the Muppets as well as new characters, with the first shows set to debut this summer. The Henson link is the latest in a string of content deals Microsoft Corp. has struck to offer original entertainment. Other partners include Paramount Digital Entertainment and Black Entertainment Television.
