Microsoft, Nike sponsor math show

ESPN has inked a deal with Microsoft Corp. and Nike to underwrite "SportsFigures," a weekly educational program on ESPN2 that teaches math through sports. Both companies will receive an opening and closing billboard, one additional mention in segues between vignettes, a spot airing outside the opening or closing of the show, and logo placement on ESPN's Web site and on related "SportsFigures" promotional materials. The show airs on Mondays at 4 p.m.
