Midas unexpectedly terminated its relationship with TN Media, New York, for its $25 million U.S. media buying account. Midas handed the business to
Carat, New York, which had pitched in the summer review won by TN Media. Midas declined further comment on the split, but said its '99 media strategy would be national vs. its more traditional even split between national and regional.
