Miller calls Molson marketing into the fold

Miller Brewing Co. has decided to fully integrate its semi-autonomous Molson Breweries USA unit into its marketing and sales structure. Miller said functions of Molson Breweries' Reston, Va., office and its American Specialty & Craft Beer Co. will now be handled by an ``import and specialty beer'' division here. There was no immediate indication of advertising changes. Molson's Reston office had handled marketing for the Molson brand through Young & Rubicam, Foster's through Angotti, Thomas, Hedge and Medalia through Bates USA, all New York; and Asahi through Asatsu, Los Angeles.
