Mindshare appoints head in Russia

Published on .

MOSCOW--The months-long search for a leader by WPP Group's MindShare has ended with the appointment of Vladimir Rass, formerly chairman at BBDO Worldwide-owned agency Media Direction.

Mr. Rass, who oversees nine employees, expects the WPP Group-owned agency's turnover to reach up to $10 million next year. There are no plans to increase the staff.

He declined to say which clients have already signed contracts with MindShare. Mr. Rass says he's keen to attract all existing clients of sister ad agencies.
