MindSpring plans ad boost

MindSpring Enterprises, Atlanta, said it plans to spend an estimated $45 million to $55 million more than expected on advertising and marketing to increase its growth over the next three quarters. The Internet service provider originally planned to spend 20% of its revenue, which more than tripled in the second quarter to $85.6 million. Fallon McElligott, New York, handles.
